Al Sharif (Saudi Arabia) and KEC International (India) JV have been awarded the construction of the 380kV overhead transmission line (OHTL) project between NIC Circle Substation and Duba Green Substation in NEOM by the Saudi Electricity Company.
The value of the contract is SAR 77.5 million and involves the design and construction of a 380kV OHTL to connect the NIC Circle Substation with the network. The approximate length of the route is 28km and the new OHTL will be installed on latticed steel towers in a vertical configuration.

The project will be carried out on a lump-sum turnkey basis, and the scope of works includes the design, engineering, materials procurement, quality management, factory inspection/testing, transport and delivery to site, installation, construction, site inspection, testing and commissioning, all associated work and services until final handing over of the project in good working and operating condition.
