Revolutionary Tap Collections Blend Minimalist Aesthetics with Eco-Conscious Innovation.
Ideal Standard, part of the Villeroy & Boch Group’s Bathroom and Wellness Division, is setting a new benchmark in sustainable bathroom solutions with the launch of Ceralife O and C. Designed by renowned designer Roberto Palomba, these two dynamic tap collections merge contemporary aesthetics with cutting-edge sustainability features, offering a perfect balance of style, performance, and eco-efficiency.

Both collections exhibit a distinct design language: Ceralife C boasts crisp, geometric lines with rounded edges, creating a bold, modern aesthetic, while Ceralife O features soft, organic curves that evoke a sense of fluidity and harmony. Available in both classic chrome and silk black, these taps seamlessly integrate with Ideal Standard’s Ceratherm shower systems, delivering a cohesive and refined bathroom experience.
Sustainability at the Core
Ideal Standard has placed sustainability at the forefront of the Ceralife range, ensuring these taps not only enhance water efficiency but also minimize environmental impact from production to daily use. Crafted from Diamatec brass—a durable, stress-resistant alloy—Ceralife taps reduce raw material consumption while maintaining structural integrity. By recycling 100% of brass waste in-house and consuming 15% less energy during production, Ideal Standard is actively reducing its carbon footprint.

Additionally, key features such as EcoFlow regulators, which maintain a water flow rate of just 3.8 l/min, and BlueStart technology, which limits unnecessary hot water usage, contribute to water and energy conservation. The FirmaFlow® ceramic disc cartridge guarantees longevity, having been tested for over 500,000 cycles—equivalent to more than a decade of smooth operation for a typical household.
Seamless Functionality and Design
Beyond sustainability, Ceralife taps are engineered for ease of use and durability. SmartShine finishes ensure lasting brilliance on chrome surfaces, while EasyFix technology simplifies installation. The user-friendly click waste system further enhances convenience, making these collections a practical choice for modern households and commercial spaces alike.

Renowned designer Roberto Palomba explains, “With Ceralife O and C, we aimed to create designs that feel natural and effortless, harmonizing with the way people interact with water daily. These collections bring a sense of balance and simplicity while upholding the highest standards of functionality and sustainability.”
Frederick Trzcinski, Vice President Commercial Ideal Standard MENA, adds, “Ceralife O and C further strengthen the distinctive design language we’ve cultivated with Roberto Palomba over the years. These collections exemplify modern aesthetics and sustainable innovation, reflecting our unwavering commitment to design, performance, and environmental responsibility.”
Ceralife O taps are already available, while Ceralife C will officially launched in April 2025, with select models arriving in autumn.
