Diriyah is home to the At-Turaif, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of the Kingdom. Its mud-brick architecture, spatial hierarchy, and urban logic form the foundation of Saudi Arabia’s architectural identity. The design of Capella Diriyah draws deeply from this heritage, reinterpreting the solid-and-void rhythm, earthen tones, and layered spatial experience that define traditional Najdi settlements.
The hotel is organized around a sequence of interconnected courtyards that guide guests through a gradual transition from animated public spaces to quiet, private retreats.
