New Dammam Facility Strengthens Regional Production and Supports Saudi Sports Ambitions.
Saudi Arabia’s drive to expand its manufacturing capabilities and invest in world-class sports infrastructure has received another boost with Musco’s new manufacturing facility in Dammam. The investment reinforces the Kingdom’s industrial growth while supporting Vision 2030’s ambitions to develop recreation, community sports, and major international sporting venues.
New Dammam facility boosts regional manufacturing capacity
The newly opened facility features a 5,600-square-meter (60,300-square-foot) manufacturing and office building, complemented by a 34,000-square-meter (six-acre) yard dedicated to shipping, receiving, and inventory. The site will manufacture advanced lighting solutions for projects ranging from community recreation fields to major stadiums and sporting venues across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East.
The Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA) and MODON, the authority responsible for industrial cities and technology zones, played a key role in establishing the facility by assisting Musco with industrial site selection, regulatory approvals, licensing, and coordination with local authorities.
“This investment in our team and facilities supports Saudi Arabia’s focus on recreation and sports as a key part of their future,” said Musco CEO Jeff Rogers. “We’re especially honored to be a part of building youth recreation across the country because we know it offers so many important life lessons.”
Production is already underway, with the Dammam facility reaching several significant milestones during 2026. In March, the team successfully manufactured its first electrical component enclosure, which will be installed at the King Abdulaziz Horse Center in Riyadh. The factory-assembled, pre-wired cabinet houses the drivers and control gear required for Musco’s lighting systems and forms a key component of the company’s proprietary Light-Structure System™ poles.
In June, the first lighting fixtures rolled off the production line, marking another important step in expanding Musco’s regional manufacturing capabilities.
“I’m excited about the opportunities our new facility will provide,” Jeff shared. “Musco has been involved in lighting projects in Saudi Arabia, and this location expands our team and capabilities in our first manufacturing facility in the Middle East Region.”
Musco’s lighting systems are already illuminating several landmark projects across the Kingdom, including the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, King Fahd Sports City Stadium, King Abdulaziz Equestrian, and Al Jawhara Stadium.
Looking ahead to Saudi Arabia hosting the FIFA World Cup™ in 2034, Musco is also working alongside the Saudi Arabian Football Federation to promote grassroots football development. Earlier this year, a Musco Mini-Pitch™ modular system was commissioned at Al-Samhaniah Field in Diriyah, creating a safe, accessible playing environment for local communities.

Designed for urban areas with limited space, each Musco Mini-Pitch™ serves an average of 10,000 children annually, with additional installations planned to further strengthen youth recreation opportunities across the Kingdom.
