The Saudi Geological Survey, represented by the Survey and Mineral Exploration Centre, has announced that the discovery of gold ore was located within the boundaries of Aba Al-Raha in the Madinah region.
Additionally, copper ore was found at four sites in the Al-Madiq area in the Wadi Al-Faraa region in Madinah.
The mineral chalcocite (Cu2S), which is dispersed, as well as several secondary copper carbonate minerals, indicates these discoveries as attractive potentials for special copper deposits.
