Thanks to the reform of its water industry and the implementation of a national Water Strategy the 2030 goals will be reached.
Dr Abdulaziz Al Shaibani, the Kingdom’s Deputy Minister for Water at the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, stated at the UN 2023 Water Conference in New York that Saudi Arabia has allocated $80 billion for water projects in the coming years as part of its efforts to achieve universal and equitable access to safe and affordable drinking water for all.
