Zamil Steel Construction Company and Sami Land Systems have entered into a $153 million contract for the development of an industrial facility in Al Kharj. The project calls for the development of production facilities, utility buildings, administrative offices, and outdoor spaces. In addition, it will take in structural, civil, finishing, and mechanical, engineering and plumbing works.

This new facility is projected to be a critical hub for the design, development, and production of domestic land defence systems. The agreement is in line with Zamil’s goals for industrial expansion, which include heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services and products, steel construction, and insulation materials.
Construction work on the project is expected to be completed within 16 months.
