Leading Argentine polo team La Dolfina and the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) have forged a new strategic alliance to transform the ancient Saudi city into an internationally recognized destination for heritage and equestrian sports, including desert polo.
The agreement was signed at the third edition of the Richard Mille Desert Polo tournament, which took place in AlUla from January 17–20. It establishes the technical framework for future additions to the elite equine sport and its continued success.
La Dolfina will help RCU establish a new Polo Academy in AlUla in addition to organizing and carrying out instructional courses for locals, guests, and Saudis who are keen to learn the game under the guidance of some of the world’s top players and coaches. In addition, La Dolfina will supply horses for AlUla polo competitions.
