Alkhorayef Signs SAR 1.8 Billion Contracts

Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Company has announced the signing of four contracts for water quality improvement projects in the Eastern Region with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture – General Directorate of Water Services in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

The quartet of contracts takes in:

1. Dammam Water Improvement Project – North Strategic and Distribution Networks and Reservoirs. The contract value is SAR 504.8 million and the contract period is 24 months.
2. Dammam Water Improvement Project – South-East Strategic and Distribution Networks and Reservoirs. The contract value is SAR 592.2 million and the contract period is 30 months.
3. Khobar Water Improvement Project – North-South Strategic and Distribution Networks and Reservoirs. The contract value is SAR 499.3 million and the contract period is 30 months.
4. Qatif Water Improvement Project – South-East Strategic and Distribution Networks and Reservoirs. The contract value is SAR 258.7 million and the contract period is 30 months.

The scope of works for the execution of water quality improvement projects in the Eastern Region includes engineering, procurement and construction of strategic transmission lines and distribution networks, pumping stations and strategic reservoirs.
