Landmark training initiative boosts female inclusion in Saudi energy sector.
As the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia accelerates its economic diversification and workforce transformation under Vision 2030, 3t, a global leader in high-hazard industry training, has launched a pioneering initiative to empower women in the energy sector. Officially approved by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), this landmark program is delivered at 3t’s state-of-the-art GTSC training center in Dammam.
First-of-its-kind training for Saudi women
This initiative not only enhances workforce participation but also ensures Saudi women gain access to the same world-class, industry-accredited training opportunities as their male counterparts. For the first time in the region, female professionals are being equipped with the technical skills and certifications required to succeed in high-demand, safety-critical energy roles—from offshore survival to industrial safety and operational competency.
Delivered at world-class Dammam facility
“We believe this initiative is a powerful step toward unlocking the full potential of the Kingdom’s workforce,” said Hani Sagr, Managing Director of 3t MENA. “By empowering women with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to thrive, we are helping shape a more inclusive, resilient, and future-ready energy sector.”
The enhanced training center has been specially modified to support the cultural values of Saudi Arabia, now featuring female-specific changing and resting rooms, along with the integration of female instructors—including trained divers—into 3t’s elite team of global experts.

Courses at GTSC Dammam leverage cutting-edge simulation technologies, immersive digital learning, and real-world safety scenarios to ensure high levels of compliance and competency. These efforts are part of 3t’s broader commitment to local workforce development following its acquisition of GTSC in 2024, reinforcing its footprint in the Middle East and aligning with national energy sector priorities.
As one of the first international training providers to open access to women in this space, 3t is proud to be a catalyst for change—paving the way for equal opportunity and sustainable growth across the region.
