Bain & Company’s new Riyadh office blends global standards with Saudi culture.
Bain & Company, one of the world’s leading management consulting firms, has unveiled its new 14,000 sq. ft. workspace in Riyadh, designed in partnership with AAID. Following the success of their Dubai office, Bain once again entrusted AAID to create a modern, functional environment that reflects both the firm’s global identity and Saudi Arabia’s cultural narrative.
The design brief emphasized alignment with Bain’s global standards, defined room sizes, wellness areas, and collaboration zones while ensuring the Riyadh office felt rooted in its local context. Rather than relying on overt cultural motifs, AAID wove Saudi heritage into the design through carefully chosen materials, textures, and subtle details. Bain’s brand identity was incorporated in an understated yet sophisticated manner.
At the heart of the project lies the design concept “Progression,” a reflection of Saudi Arabia’s journey of transformation. Drawing inspiration from the nation’s landscapes and traditions, deserts, jacaranda blooms, Red Sea corals, and the warmth of hospitality, the office integrates earthy tones with vibrant accents. The result is a modern workplace that fosters collaboration, wellbeing, and a sense of belonging.
Bain’s new Riyadh office not only supports productivity but also symbolizes the firm’s deep commitment to the Kingdom, echoing its values of innovation, inclusivity, and respect for local culture.
