Egypt’s Engineering Consultants Group (ECG) has received a contract to design five NEOM Construction Villages, with its scope of work including design review, data collection, masterplanning, concept design, design development, detailed design, and IFC (Issued for Construction).
The five villages comprise residential, combined facilities, utility buildings, and individual amenities for Saudi NEOM staff, contractors’ staff, and FM staff.
The residential facilities being designed by ECG for each village include NEOM camp type A suite (G), NEOM camp type B (G+1), contractors’ type A (G), contractors’ type B (G+1), contractors’ type C (G+1), contractors’ type D (G+1), and FM staff types B, C & D (G+1), ECG revealed in the project sheet.
Separate facilities on the ground floor of each village take in a gymnasium, games room, and male and female swimming pools
Registration and FM offices, office building, mosque, multi-purpose hall, fire station & truck yard, maintenance warehouse, clinic, commercial, laundry, type A+B dining, type C+D dining, kitchen with LPG connection, dry and cold goods storage, outdoor toilet, refuse room, security facilities, and training facility are all to be found on the ground floor of each NEOM Construction Village.
Separate facilities on the ground floor of each village take in a gymnasium, games room, and male and female swimming pools under Type A; a gymnasium, games room, male and female swimming pools under Type B; a gymnasium, games room, and male swimming pool under Type C; and a gymnasium, games room, and male swimming pool under Type D. A gymnasium and games area are being built for FM workers too.
There will also be a registration and FM office, a clinic, commercial space, a games room, a gymnasium, male and female swimming pools, a laundry area, a refuse room, an outdoor toilet, a guardhouse, a dining and kitchen area with an LPG connection, a mosque, a multi-purpose room, and an electrical substation.
