SODECA GROUP continues to reinforce its commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency, now boasting more than 1,000 solar panels installed on the rooftops of its production facilities. This photovoltaic installation generates over 500,000 kWh annually, covering approximately one-third of the group’s total energy consumption.
With this investment in solar energy, SODECA GROUP is not only progressing towards energy self-sufficiency but also actively contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions. The sustainable energy produced by the solar panels prevents the emission of more than 200 tonnes of CO2 per year, further strengthening the company’s commitment to combating climate change and transitioning towards a more sustainable industrial model.
SODECA GROUP’s commitment to lowering its environmental impact has been acknowledged by the Spanish national authority responsible for sustainability and climate initiatives, which has granted the company certification for measuring and actively reducing its carbon footprint.

In addition to generating renewable energy, SODECA GROUP has also implemented electric vehicle charging points at several of its production plants, promoting sustainable mobility among its employees and partners. These initiatives form part of a broader sustainability strategy aimed at minimising the environmental impact of industrial activity and encouraging the use of clean energy.
With these measures, SODECA GROUP continues to move forward in its sustainability strategy, proving that environmental responsibility is fully compatible with technological innovation and industrial excellence. A clear example of this commitment is the company’s headquarters in Spain, where the Environmental Management System has been certified under the ISO 14001 standard.
