The list of companies qualified for RFP of AlAnsar Hospital PPP project has been announced by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health (MoH) in tandem with the National Centre for Privatisation and PPP.
The list consists of nine companies and consortiums: FCC – IHCC Consortium (Saudi Arabia), Engie (France), El Seif (Saudi Arabia), Lamar Holding (Bahrain), Aberdeen (UK), InterHealth (Canada), Vision Invest (Saudi Arabia), Tamasuk (Saudi Arabia), and Alfanar (Saudi Arabia). These companies and consortiums have been whittled down from the 87 interested parties that expressed an interest in April 2020.
A planned clinical capacity of 244 beds, exceeding the previous hospital’s capacity by 170%
To be located in Almadinah Almunawwarah, the new AlAnsar Hospital has a planned clinical capacity of 244 beds, exceeding the previous hospital’s capacity by 170%. It is projected that annual visits to the hospital will surpass 400,000.
Designed to contribute to the sustainable and free healthcare services provided by MoH for residents and visitors to Almadinah Almunawwarah, the AlAnsar Hospital project has targeted infrastructure developers, contractors, and consortiums to deliver the project under a BMT (design, build, equipment procurement, operations and maintenance) model.
