His Excellency stated that the project intends to speed up the origination and discharge of essential grains into the Kingdom through this terminal, which will be the first regional grain facility in the commercial port of Yanbu. SALIC, according to His Excellency, focuses on the diversification of ports’ geographical locations and infrastructures to improve food distribution in the region by connecting the Kingdom to global grain supplies. Furthermore, the terminal aids in the importation, transportation, and distribution of grains by increasing Saudi Arabia’s supply chain capabilities and providing logistic support to all importers in the public and private sectors.
