VISION AND STRATEGY

SAUDI PROJECTS: How do you see DAC Group’s role evolving in Saudi Arabia’s construction sector, particularly with Vision 2030 initiatives underway?

MOHAMED MAGDI: Saudi Arabia is going through a very real and visible transformation. Vision 2030 has raised expectations across the entire construction industry, not only in terms of scale, but also in quality, accountability, and long-term value.

For DAC Group, our role is evolving from being a specialized contractor to becoming a trusted delivery partner for technically demanding projects. We focus on areas where execution quality truly matters, particularly in industrial, logistics, infrastructure, and specialized works. Our aim is simple: to support the Kingdom’s ambitions by delivering projects that are well engineered, properly executed, and built to perform over time.

SAUDI PROJECTS: What are your top priorities for driving commercial growth and positioning DAC Group as a market leader?

MOHAMED MAGDI: The first priority is focus. Sustainable growth comes from working in sectors where we genuinely add value, not from chasing volume. We are very selective about where we invest our time and resources. The second priority is consistency. Clients return when they know they will receive the same level of quality and professionalism every time. Finally, people remain the foundation of everything we do. Building strong teams, empowering leaders, and creating clear alignment across the organization is what enables long-term growth.

MARKET INSIGHTS SAUDI PROJECTS

SAUDI PROJECTS: How do you stay ahead of market trends and identify new opportunities in a competitive landscape?

MOHAMED MAGDI: Staying close to the market is essential. I spend a lot of time engaging directly with clients, consultants, suppliers, and our site teams. That interaction provides real insight into market challenges and emerging opportunities. At the same time, we rely on performance data, project feedback, and global benchmarks to guide decision-making. When experience on the ground is combined with structured analysis, you can move proactively rather than reactively.

SAUDI PROJECTS: What sectors or projects do you believe hold the most promise for DAC Group’s growth?

MOHAMED MAGDI: Industrial, logistics, and infrastructure projects continue to offer strong opportunities, particularly with the Kingdom’s focus on manufacturing, supply chains, and industrial development. We also see growing demand for specialized works where quality, durability, and technical discipline are critical. These are the areas where DAC Group has built its reputation and where we see long-term value.

CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS

SAUDI PROJECTS: How do you build and maintain strong relationships with clients, and what sets DAC Group apart?

MOHAMED MAGDI: Strong relationships are built on trust, transparency, and delivery. We are always honest with our clients and clear in our communication, especially when challenges arise. What differentiates DAC Group is our mindset. We do not approach projects as transactions. We approach them as partnerships, taking the time to understand our clients’ priorities and aligning our delivery accordingly. This approach builds confidence and long-term collaboration.

SAUDI PROJECTS: Can you share an example of a successful client partnership and how it was nurtured?

MOHAMED MAGDI: One of our strongest partnerships is with Agility Logistics, who today consider DAC Group as both their current and future partner. This relationship was built gradually on trust, word of mouth, and on making commitments that we were confident we could deliver, and then delivering on them. On our most recent project together, the client was very satisfied with the quality of execution, the attitude of our teams, and the standards we delivered. This resulted in a formal appreciation letter, which we value greatly as it reflects genuine confidence in our people.

For us, true partnership is when a client feels comfortable enough to simply pick up the phone and ask for support, knowing we will respond immediately and responsibly. The same approach applies to other valued clients such as Al-Jomaih Beverage Plant Company and the CEER Factory. Over the years, many of our clients have shared appreciation letters with us, each representing a successful story built on consistency, commitment, and mutual respect. At DAC Group, we deliver with responsibility, with the right attitude, and with uncompromising quality. This is what gives us a real edge in a competitive market.

INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY

SAUDI PROJECTS: How is DAC Group leveraging technology and innovation to enhance project delivery and client experience?

MOHAMED MAGDI: We view technology as a practical tool, not a trend. From planning systems and execution equipment to quality monitoring and performance tracking, technology helps us reduce risk and improve accuracy. For clients, this means better visibility, fewer surprises, and outcomes that align with expectations. When used correctly, technology strengthens both delivery and trust.

SAUDI PROJECTS: What role do you see digital transformation playing in shaping the future of construction?

MOHAMED MAGDI: Digital transformation will continue to change how projects are planned, monitored, and controlled. Data-driven decision-making will become standard across the industry. That said, technology will never replace experience. The future belongs to companies that combine digital tools with strong engineering judgment and disciplined execution on site.

SUSTAINABILITY AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

SAUDI PROJECTS: How does DAC Group incorporate sustainability and social responsibility into its projects and operations?

MOHAMED MAGDI: Sustainability starts with doing the job right the first time. Durable solutions, efficient use of materials, and minimizing rework all contribute directly to better environmental outcomes. uncompromising quality. This is what gives us a real edge in a competitive market. Social responsibility is equally important. We invest in our people, maintain high safety standards, and support local talent development. Our responsibility extends beyond individual projects to the communities where we operate.

SAUDI PROJECTS: What initiatives is the company taking to reduce its environmental footprint?

MOHAMED MAGDI: Reducing our environmental footprint is an ongoing process. We continually refine our construction methods to reduce waste, improve material efficiency, and minimize rework, all of which have a direct environmental impact. We also adopt modern technologies that help lower CO₂ emissions and introduce innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency. In addition, DAC Group is a Gold Member of the USGBC, which reflects our commitment to sustainable construction and responsible development. Through this approach, we aim to deliver projects that perform efficiently throughout their lifecycle and contribute positively to the built environment.

LEADERSHIP AND TALENT DEVELOPMENT

SAUDI PROJECTS: What advice would you give to aspiring commercial leaders looking to make an impact in Saudi Arabia’s construction industry?

MOHAMED MAGDI: Focus on the fundamentals. Understand the business, respect the technical side, and never compromise on integrity. This industry rewards consistency, resilience, and trust. Continuous learning is also essential, as the market continues to evolve quickly.

SAUDI PROJECTS: How does DAC Group prioritize talent development and leadership succession planning?

MOHAMED MAGDI: We believe strong organizations are built from within. We identify potential early, invest in development, and give our people real responsibility so they can grow through experience. Succession planning is about readiness, not titles. Our objective is to ensure capable leaders are always prepared to step forward when needed.
