Wamdah Tech expands applied programs for women graduates across Saudi regions.
Wamdah Tech, with support from Agility, is expanding its applied programs for women graduates in computer science and information technology across several regions of Saudi Arabia, under a rollout plan covering Madinah, Hail and the Northern Borders.
Bridging Academic Learning and Real-World Tech Practice
This expansion is part of the initiative’s broader pathway to help technology graduates develop practical skills aligned with labor-market needs and move from academic knowledge into hands-on application and professional practice through application development and AI-enabled tools.
The program combines technical training, practical application and work on projects linked to real needs, giving participants the opportunity to apply what they learn, build experience in application development and strengthen their readiness to contribute to technology projects and digital services.
A 120-day pathway from AI training to applied technology projects
The program is delivered in three stages. The first consists of an intensive, three-day, in-person training program comprising 15 hours of instruction in application development and programming using AI-enabled tools. This is followed by a 45-day period of remote practical application through the Wamdah Tech platform. In the final stage, technology projects are sourced from local organizations and businesses, creating opportunities for participants to apply their skills in real-world settings as part of an integrated pathway extending for up to 120 days.
This model reflects Wamdah Tech’s approach to building a pathway that goes beyond training by linking skills development with hands-on application, projects and professional opportunities. It is designed to help graduates build practical, demonstrable experience they can carry into their careers.
