The additions to the range were launched for the first time at Cersaie 2023 in Bologna, Italy, between 25 to 29 September, and included a variety of new colors and material decorations that embrace the now, adapt to changing trends, and explore fresh concepts that push the boundaries of traditional design, bringing a fresh, stylishly modern new twist to the eclectic nature of the collection.

GLOCAL takes its inspiration from smooth concrete, with a wide range of colors and sizes, making this a particularly flexible, versatile collection that remains a bestseller from Emilia Romagna-based Mirage six years on from its début. The company has extended the color range too, initially made up of a rich variety of 12 natural shades, by introducing eight new colors that offer a take on current trends. The grey tones have become more subtle, less iron-like, lighter, and warmer, while other shades acquire hints of blue, green, or terracotta. Neutral shades, yet with character, in softer tones than in the past, injecting personality and new life into the collection.
Cappellini said: “We’ve introduced a fresh color palette, more contemporary, integrating warmer and gentler hues that resonate with current trends. I’m fond of adding pops of color because I believe that color is integral to an object’s allure. There’s the precision of formal design on one side and color infusion on the other – two pillars that guide my creative approach.”

GLOCAL sizes range from 30×30 up to 120×278, including particularly contemporary solutions such as the 80×80 or 80×160 sizes.
