In order to develop data science and artificial intelligence (AI) applications and solutions for addressing national and international energy challenges, Halliburton has announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).
Through the Artificial Intelligence Center for Energy (AICE) – a joint center between the Ministry of Energy and SDAIA – the collaboration agreement links AICE’s considerable expertise and resources in the data and AI field with Halliburton’s cloud-first AI and machine learning investigation and production tools, in addition to its solutions that are designed to support increasingly sustainable upstream operations.
