Jazan City Port has stated that the initiative should boost the port’s logistical capabilities and enhance the efficiency of heavy transport
The first task entails the construction of a bridge that will connect the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) to both the city’s port and the deposit and re-export area. This involves the establishment of essential infrastructure and the development of the site, which will incorporate the construction of three bridges. Jazan City Port has stated that the initiative should boost the port’s logistical capabilities and enhance the efficiency of heavy transport.
The port’s ambitious transformation seeks to position the city as a key regional logistics hub, aligning with national industrial strategies, driving economic growth through increased private sector involvement, expanding non-oil exports, improving global competitiveness, attracting foreign investments, fostering economic diversification, and creating a favorable investment climate.
