Maersk Arabia Logistics Services has awarded Zamil Steel Construction Company a $195 million contract for the construction of multi-purpose warehouses and a logistics yard at the Jeddah Islamic Port.
The scope of work involves conducting all work required for the construction of warehouses, offices, and loading areas, including structural, civil, finishing, and MEP work. Furthermore, the company indicated that it will also supply a wide range of products, including HVAC systems, steel buildings and structures, insulation panels, and rockwool and fiberglass insulation materials. The project is scheduled to be completed by Q4 2024.

Zamil Steel Construction Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Saudi-based business giant Zamil Industrial Investment Company (Zamil Industrial), will use the proceeds from this transaction to expand into infrastructure development projects and logistical services.
