The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani), in collaboration with the National Centre for Privatization and PPP (NCP), has announced the launch of an Expression of Interest (EOI) for marine services projects in eight major Saudi commercial and industrial ports.
The long-term agreements will be awarded to experienced private sector companies through a competitive procurement process, per the Private Sector Participation (PSP) Law.
The agreements will include basic marine services such as anchorage, pilotage, towage, berthing and unberthing and mooring, as well as supplementary services such as pollution control, fire-fighting, etc.

The EOI document can be downloaded from the NCP website, www.ncp.gov.sa, by interested local and international private sector companies. The deadline for EOI submissions is 7 April 7 2022 at 15.00 KSA time. Following the EOI process, all EOI responders will receive a Request for Qualifications (RFQ).
Marine services are critical in creating world-class ports sector practises and attracting best-in-class specialized partners, advancing Mawani’s commitment to positioning the Kingdom as a global logistics hub in line with Saudi Vision 2030’s National Strategy for Transport and Logistics.
