The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) and the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry have signed an agreement for the construction of an integrated logistics park at Al Khumrah in Jeddah.
The SAR 1 billion project is expected to strengthen Mawani’s status as a key participant in the Kingdom’s transportation ecosystem. Moreover, it is intended to establish Saudi as a global logistics hub in line with the goals of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy (NTLS). The development will also realize the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) outcomes. The goal of this program is to turn Al Khumrah into a global supply chain and logistics hub.

The park is anticipated to offer direct and indirect job opportunities for 10,000 logistics experts and will strengthen Jeddah Islamic Port’s critical position as a vital marine hub providing top-tier services and increased throughput capacity.
The logistics park covers 3km2 and is organized into three zones: shared warehouses, independent warehouses, and medium-sized and large storage yards.

The facility will be divided into zones to satisfy the demands of importers and exporters for stocking multifunctional cargo, food commodities, delicate items, chilled and frozen goods, all while keeping the highest safety and efficiency standards. It will also include separate administrative, commercial, and residential sectors, as well as a one-stop services center.
The park offers ready-to-move-in warehouses, storage areas, custom storage, logistical facilities, re-export zones, commercial units, staff lodging, infrastructure such as roads and green spaces, and other important services.
