The Saudi Ministry of Health (MoH) has announced the receipt of Expressions of Interest (EOI) for King Faisal Medical City (KFMC) in Abha and Prince Mohammad bin Abdul Aziz Medical City (PMMC) in Sakaka, in collaboration with the National Center for Privatization and PPP (NCP).
The project is being tendered under a Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) model of Design, Build, Finance, Operate (with no clinical operations), Maintain and Transfer.

King Faisal Medical City (KFMC) will have a bed capacity of 1,024, while Prince Mohammad bin Abdul Aziz Medical City (PMMC) in Sakaka will have a bed capacity of 442 beds, according to the EOI statement.
The MoH is seeking bids in which the private sector will be responsible for completing the construction of medical cities with an innovative design that will provide health services in accordance with modern healthcare models.
