In the third quarter of this year, the Ministry of Health will tender three maternity and children’s hospital projects using the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) format.
According to details provided by the National Centre for Privatization & PPP (NCP), the projects will be tendered in August 2023 under 20-year-plus Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Maintain (DBFOM) contracts.
The maternity and children’s hospital projects are located in Riyadh, Jeddah and Al Ahsa
The three projects are:
- Al-Yamamah Maternity and Children’s Hospital in Riyadh
- Al-Masadiyah Maternity and Children’s Hospital in Jeddah
- Al-Ahsa Maternity and Children’s Hospital in Ahsa
Previously, the NCP authorized 200 projects in 17 sectors for privatization and co-development with the private sector in order to attract more domestic and foreign investment.
