NEOM has revealed plans for its first all-year-round ski resort, a futuristic, luxury mega-project located in the Kingdom’s mountains, and to be known as TROJENA. This new destination will boast its own village, wellness resorts and an ‘interactive nature reserve’.
The project includes the construction of a massive man-made freshwater lake and a ‘vertical village within the mountain’ known as The Vault. There are also plans to built ‘Slope Residences’ – lavish mansions that will look out over the artificial lake and its surroundings.

NEOM is situated in one of the most mountainous regions in the Kingdom, with peaks reaching 8,530 feet, and the Saudi government expects the project to generate 10,000 jobs and $800 million.
The NEOM website said the man-made village will include ‘bespoke experiences where reality and imagination are combined’.
