The Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) and the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts (SASCA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster collaboration across projects, initiatives, and events, leveraging SASCA’s extensive publications to support DGDA’s mission. The agreement was signed by DGDA’s CEO Advisor Eng. Abdullah Al Ghanim and SASCA’s General Manager Khalid Al Baz.
Through this partnership, the organizations will empower Saudi artists and implement art acquisition programs to enhance the aesthetic of Diriyah’s significant sites, including the historic UNESCO-listed At-Turaif district. The MoU outlines a broad range of collaborative activities, such as national celebrations, musical performances, and the use of DGDA’s theaters and cultural assets for SASCA’s projects.
The agreement also establishes a foundation for joint initiatives focused on community engagement, providing training opportunities and cultural programs that empower Diriyah’s residents. This partnership underscores both organizations’ commitment to enriching Saudi Arabia’s cultural landscape by supporting artists, fostering talent, and creating a dynamic platform for cultural expression and appreciation.
