ROSHN Group, one of Saudi Arabia’s largest real estate developers and PIF-owned giga-project, has concluded the ROSHN Supply Chain Forum, which saw 800+ local and international supply chain leaders gather to explore opportunities for collaboration with ROSHN in transforming Saudi Arabia’s real estate sector. The Forum witnessed the signing of eight new partnerships, symbolizing ROSHN Group’s commitment to advancing Saudi Vision 2030 and boosting quality of life. In a further showcase of collaboration that defines the Group’s endeavors, representatives from Saudi Arabian PARSONS, China Harbour, SAPAC, AE Seven, and BCC were recognized celebrating the excellence they have delivered across ROSHN Group’s developments.
ROSHN signs four MoUs and four Agreements at the ROSHN Supply Chain Forum (RSCF) with a range of Saudi government entities and international private sector leaders to enhance its projects, boost the Saudi economy, and contribute to Saudi Vision 2030 goals
The eight agreements signed at the Forum create frameworks for collaboration across supply chains, manufacturing, licensing, and training to enhance ROSHN’s development of innovative, integrated, and sustainable real estate projects while contributing to Saudi Vision 2030 goals of economic diversification and attracting foreign direct investment:
- ROSHN and the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources (MIM) will collaborate on establishing market intelligence and knowledge exchange; facilitating the issuance of industrial licenses for ROSHN’s manufacturing facilities and real estate projects; and capitalizing on the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information’s intelligence and databases.
- ROSHN and the Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA) have agreed to align on prequalification requirements and processes for contractors, alongside aligning SCA’s private sector classification system with ROSHN’s requirements to optimize the contractor selection process.
- ROSHN and Partanna have agreed to collaborate on a state-of-the-art carbon-negative concrete facility in Saudi Arabia using Partanna’s innovative CO2-absorbing concrete. Partanna is the pioneer of the world’s most nature-positive concrete, made without Portland cement.
- ROSHN and Pure.Tech have signed an agreement to explore a partnership opportunity for sustainable construction solutions, including the manufacturing and utilisation of Pure.Tech’s CO2 absorbing additives in ROSHN’s projects and other developments across KSA. Pure.Tech’s additive product can be used in varied construction materials, textiles, and polymers to reduce primary greenhouse gases in our atmosphere.
- ROSHN and Saudi Emaar are investigating a potential agreement to expand factory capacities, with a focus on manufacturing internal wooden doors for ROSHN properties alongside modernizing machinery and upgrading manufacturing capacity. Saudi Emaar is a prominent emerging player in the Kingdom’s wooden furniture manufacturing sector.
- ROSHN and Connected Innovations will explore the possibility of collaborating on the manufacturing and distribution of Smart Sockets, designed to enhance safety and energy efficiency in ROSHN projects and throughout the Kingdom. Connected Innovations is a company that has been founded to provide assured and secure smart technology solutions that drive up global safety standards in homes.
- ROSHN and Schüco International KG, will work together to examine the possibility of developing a PVC-U profile manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia and have established a framework for future collaboration in mutually agreed upon areas. Schüco is one of the leading suppliers of high-quality windows, doors, and façade systems made from aluminum, PVC-U and steel.
- ROSHN and Lixil / Grohe will study a partnership opportunity for a localized production and manufacturing facility for sanitaryware and sanitary fixtures. Germany-based GROHE is a leading global brand for complete bathroom solutions and kitchen fittings. It is part of the portfolio of Lixil, the Japanese pioneer in water and housing products.
As ROSHN welcomed these new opportunities, it also recognized existing success partners, celebrating the excellence they have delivered across ROSHN’s completed and ongoing developments.
- Saudi Arabian PARSONS was honored with the prestigious ‘ROSHN Design Excellence Recognition’ for their exceptional contribution to the masterplan of SEDRA Phases 3, 4, & 5. This appreciation recognizes their market-leading expertise and innovation in design, which is significantly advancing architectural excellence in the region.
- China Harbour was recognized with the ‘Innovation Excellence Recognition’ for their ground-breaking proposal to establish a high-tech pre-cast joint venture with ROSHN in Riyadh.
- Saudi Pan Kingdom Company (SAPAC) was awarded ‘Execution Excellence Recognition’ in light of their outstanding performance in delivering the ALAROUS Infrastructure project. The recognition showcases SAPAC’s exemplary standard in project execution, demonstrating remarkable speed, efficiency, and quality.
- AE SEVEN received the ‘Design to Budget Excellence Recognition’ for their exceptional services in developing the new generation of ROSHN Multi-Family projects. This recognition celebrates AE Seven’s extraordinary commitment to value engineering, pioneering, and detailed market pricing analysis.
- Building Construction Company (BCC) was awarded ‘The Transparency and Collaboration Excellence Recognition’ for their exceptional teamwork in developing the new generation of ROSHN single-family products for upcoming projects.
