SADAFCO, the Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Company, has announced the start of the construction of a new sales facility in the city of Makkah.
The new depot, which is located in Makkah’s industrial city, will be 8,009m2 in area and replaces an existing rented space. The new facility is part of SADAFCO’s plan to help the company grow and improve its performance. The initiative will be entirely funded by the company’s own resources.
Construction is planned to start in the first quarter of the fiscal year which ends 31 March 2023, at a cost of around SAR 27 million.
The Kingdom and the surrounding region are currently served by the company’s existing sales and distribution networks. It presently has 20 depots in Saudi Arabia and four more in the region. When completed, the new warehouse will result in considerable future cost savings and increased supply chain efficiency for SADAFCO.
