Saudi Ceramic Co. (Saudi Ceramics) is setting up a new factory to produce porcelain tiles using the latest international technologies, with a production capacity of 8.25 million square meters annually, at a total cost of SAR 249.3 million.
The project will be financed through a combination of borrowing and self-financing, the company said in a bourse statement, indicating that it will be implemented by a group of manufacturers and suppliers inside and outside the Kingdom.
The implementation phase will begin in the fourth quarter of 2021. The trial run will commence in Q1 2023 and will last for one month before commercial operations begin.
