A military-industrial complex costing one billion Saudi riyals has been completed by Saudi Chemical Holding Co.
According to the Saudi Chemical in a statement to the Saudi stock exchange, Tadawul, the project, which was initially planned to be finished in the first half of 2021, consists of buildings, production lines, ready warehouses, and safety and protection systems.
Production is anticipated to begin in the third quarter of 2022
The Covid-19 pandemic’s constraints and difficulties, including the suspension of travel to and from the Kingdom and a direct impact on the logistics operations, were to blame for the delay.
Following approval from appropriate authorities, production is anticipated to begin in the third quarter of 2022.
In March 2020, Saudi Chemical Holding announced the start of construction over a five-year time period.
