One of the most notable initiatives being carried out by the Jeddah Municipality is the Obhur Waterfront Development Project, which is expected to be finished in 2022, according to a statement from the project’s developers, PC Marine Services.
The project will be both a tourist destination and a residential area and is being redeveloped over an area of over 180,000m2.
Obhur Waterfront will include a 2,100-meter quay wall, swimming beaches with a length of 300 meters, and additional marine scaffolding with a length of 138 meters. Dancing fountains, green landscapes, playgrounds, and pedestrian and bike paths are also features of the project.

The launch of Jeddah Season in May, which attracted up to four million attendees, showcases the exciting pace of change in Jeddah’s diverse entertainment scene.
The Obhur Waterfront Development Project seeks to enhance Saudi Arabia’s reputation as a tourist destination and one of the most liveable cities in the world by increasing tourism and diversifying economic activities.
