Genesys International, based in India, has received a $8.05 million contract from Saudi company Al Moammar Information Systems (MIS). The contract is expected to boost advanced national mapping services, signaling a substantial development in the Kingdom’s building and infrastructure sectors.
The project awarded to Genesys consists of mapping services to enhance Saudi Arabia’s geospatial capabilities. The scope of the project involves creating elevation models, digital form outputs, updating the buildings layer, improving the transportation network, refining the hydrographic network, maintaining a complete land cover database, and aligning these services with Saudi Arabia’s national geospatial platform.
