I transform, I enrich and I inspire
Our people are the essence of moving AMAALA forward, going beyond a vision and a concept. Our most important asset, our team, is working in harmony to transform a beautiful dream into a stunning reality. At AMAALA, we use our diversity as power, and it is this strength that is sowing the seeds for a destination underpinned by AMAALA’s brand and pillars (Wellness & Sports, Sustainability, Arts & Culture, and Sea, Sun & Lifestyle). The mini-video series, #IamAMAALA, conveys the attributes and aspirations of the believers working together to deliver on our promise.
Shuruq Alghamdi
Wellness Specialist
I have always been passionate about the tourism sector but found a career difficult to pursue as people around me voiced their beliefs that there was no future for women in the Kingdom’s tourism sector. But then Vision 2030 and the giga-projects were announced, changing the whole perspective and allowing my dream to become a reality. I then pursued my master’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management at The University of Queensland, Australia, and immediately joined the Misk/AMAALA Corporate Internship Program. AMAALA is a fully integrative family wellness destination and it is where I found my passion for wellness tourism. I am now working with experts in tourism, hospitality and above all wellness. To support this new path of mine, I enrolled in five courses specializing in spa management, knowing this would take me to the next level and help me deliver AMAALA as a global wellness destination.

Governance Manager
One of the many reasons why I chose to work for AMAALA was the chance to be part of a globally recognized giga-project directly connected to Vision 2030. AMAALA focuses on wellness and natural experiences, which is something I am passionate about. I aim to pursue this passion by becoming a governance specialist in these sectors. AMAALA’s dramatic landscapes, pristine eco-systems, rich biodiversity and dedication to protecting marine life inspired me to take diving lessons. My urge to explore allowed me to discover one of the few thriving coral reefs left in the world and one of the world’s largest barrier reef systems. Diving had a big impact on me as it enabled me to deal with work pressures and stress more effectively. It helps reduce my stress levels and boost my creativity during work. It has contributed to building my trust, confidence and self-esteem. Diving in AMAALA provided me with the opportunity to discover the world
Salem Binrabba
Sustainability Specialist
Given my background in architectural engineering, designing sustainable projects was of interest to me and I was keen to explore further. Knowing that this is a new sector in the Kingdom and realizing the potential it has to set new standards in how sustainable destinations are built, I decided to pursue my career in this field, especially given that sustainability plays a major role in shaping the Kingdom in its next phase. At AMAALA, I was given the opportunity to pursue this passion and be part of developing an ultra-luxury regenerative tourism destination that implements international sustainable best practices in design, construction, and development. Gratefully today, after a year working for AMAALA, I am a MOSTADAM Accredited Professional, which is the equivalent to LEED in Saudi Arabia. My goal is to have a role in introducing an innovative Saudi sustainable solution or model to the world. I hope to achieve this with AMAALA and become one of the top national sustainability experts and have my own distinct impact on helping the Kingdom achieve its Saudi Vision 2030.

Sara Bin Saeed
Interior Design Manager
AMAALA was a dream for me as it is not just any luxury destination. It is a luxury sustainable destination inspired by wellness; how often do you get to see one of those? I would have to say the answer is never. Working for AMAALA has opened my eyes to infinite creative possibilities, where you get inspired by wellness while using sustainable textile, fabrics, and materials. The level of professional and experienced people here at AMAALA has enriched my knowledge and expanded my horizons. I learned how to use concepts like biophilia that guides the destination’s natural design principles to bring the outside world in, whilst positively influencing guest wellbeing. I am excited to be part of the design team that is working towards achieving Vision 2030 and looking forward to when I will get to transfer my knowledge and learning to newcomers in this field.
Noura Kilabi
Health and Safety Project Manager
I joined AMAALA because it is a source of Saudi pride and I wanted to be part of the team and people who contribute to delivering Vision 2030. I didn’t want to just have a job; I wanted a job that will make a change. I now work with the project delivery’s Health and Safety team at AMAALA, which makes me one of the few Saudi women working in this field. This was made possible after I received my 30 Hour OSHA and completed numerous related courses. My goal is to become the first female Saudi national Project Manager and I know that with my drive and determination, and guidance from my mentor, I will achieve this goal.

Fahad Almansouri
Project Delivery Specialist
I joined AMAALA because it was an opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking project and deliver high substantial masterplans. This is not just a giga-project; this is a project that contributes directly to delivering Vision 2030. Working at AMAALA has rapidly elevated my skills and experience curve. It put me on the right track and actualized my career path in the tourism, luxury real-estate and mixed-use development industry. You almost never get the chance to be part of an ultra-luxury sustainable destination that is inspired by wellness. The combination itself is mind-blowing. It is my absolute pleasure to be part of the AMAALA team. My goal is to deliver as many high-quality masterplans inspired by wellness and sustainability within the stipulated given timeframe, to continue contributing to our country’s development.
